ASTROWEAVE SOLAR SHADES:

The Sunscreen material is being widely used in today's demanding yet cost-conscious residential and commercial market. These fabrics provide the ideal solution because they are long-lasting, energy-efficient, flame-retardant and easy to maintain. The custom shades are available in 8 different densities to offer the customer a choice given the amount of heat, glare, or privacy required for the specific situation.

THE SHADES:
The screens are available in five different densities. The more dense the fabric, the higher the efficiency and the lower the visibility.

1. SUNSET SOLAR SUNSCREEN: The lightest weave with an Average Openness factor of 30% and blocking out up to 70% of heat and glare. This weave is not recommended for Southern or Western exposures because the intensity of the heat is too strong for this light fabric.

2. ASTROWEAVE: The next weave, considered to be the middle density, because it blocks out up to 80% of heat and glare and has an averageness openness factor of 14%. This blind is used for commercial purposes especially in an application where keeping the view (from inside out is important.) It is not as dense as the ASTROWEAVE 2000 and still allows one to see out clearly.

3. ASTROWEAVE 2000 / 2100: are basket weaves designed expressly for those applications which require a more opaque and nondirectional fabric.

Astroweave 2000 - This weave has a higher density and is more energy efficient. It blocks out up to 95% of UV reays and has an average openness factor of 5%.

Astroweave 2100 - This weave is more open – blocking out up to 90% of UV reays and has an average openness factor of 10%.

4. ASTROWEAVE 4000 Series: Astroweave 4100: The most open of the three in this series providing increased outward visibility. The UV Blockage is approximately 90% and the average openness factor is approx. 10%.

Astroweave 4000: this mid-range weave offers a UV Blockage is approximately 95% and the average openness factor is approx. 5%.

Astroweave 4400: the most dense in this series style 4400 is designes with a 3% openness factor offering max. UV blockage (approx. 97%).


5. ATROWEAVE 4800: NEW... the most dense weave in the line with an average openness factor of 1% and UV Blockage of approx 99%.
